The Designer Story
Our lead designer, Arthur Lucas, is a passionate young man with a deep love for both mechanics and art. Growing up, Arthur spent much of his childhood in his father’s clockmaker workshop, fascinated by how intricate clock parts transformed into perfectly functioning timepieces. These childhood memories sparked his desire to express his understanding of time and aesthetics through design.
However, Arthur’s journey as a designer was not without challenges. When he first graduated, despite his dreams of designing wall clocks, he faced many doubts due to market competition and traditional views. After years of persistence and experimentation, he finally created a clock design that balanced modernity with timeless elegance—this design marked the beginning of the GGTJ brand. Today, Arthur remains the soul of our design team, continuously infusing the brand with creativity and emotion.
